Christy Anderson, “Live Words and Experience: The Hand of the Architect from Alberti to Zumthor”

Our first preservation lecture of the spring semester will be this Friday at noon in the slide room (Fine Arts Center 465). Our guest lecturer is Christy Anderson, a professor of art history at the University of Toronto, and widely published and acclaimed historian of Renaissance art and architecture. She is also a graduate of the UMass art history program.
Her talk is titled “Live Words and Experience: The Hand of the Architect from Alberti to Zumthor” and should appeal to preservation students as well as students of architectural design and art history, heritage and public history.
