Historic Curatorship for New Bedford’s Congdon Lucas House

The City of New Bedford has released a Request for Expression of Interest (RFEI) for the rehabilitation, operation and management of the historic Congdon-Lucas House located within Hazelwood Park. Modeled after DCR’s very successful Historic Curatorship program, this will provide a unique opportunity for the right entity to preserve and lease a beautiful property overlooking stunning Buzzard’s Bay.

More information can be found on the City’s website: http://www.newbedford-ma.gov/purchasing/rfp.html

An open house will give respondents the opportunity to view the property, and is tentatively scheduled for Saturday, June 15 from 10am-2pm.

Please contact me if you are interested in attending the Open House and feel free to spread the word about this opportunity.

Best,
