We are pleased to announce the 2013 UMass Historic Preservation and Sustainability Symposium: New Innovations in Policy at Home and Abroad. In this, the third symposium on how preservation is integral to designing sustainable buildings and communities, we will focus on the latest policies, laws, regulations and incentives, and hear from a panel of international experts in the field about prospects for the future.
The symposium will be held on Friday, October 25, 2013 from 1-5:30pm in Gordon Hall Room 303 on the University of Massachusetts Amherst campus.
Architects can earn learning units by attending this program. Please complete the registration form and return the form with payment by Friday, October 18, 2013 to Lorin Starr, Executive Director of the Western Massachusetts chapter of the American Institute of Architects. This event is free for all UMass/Five College students, faculty, and staff. $50 each for AIA members and $75 each for non member architects. A $25 donation is suggested for others. Refreshments provided.
